Untitled Document Charles A Barkemeyer, M.D. is author of the Malingering Detection Scale Instruction Manual for Physicians. He is senior author of the Barkemeyer-Callon-Jones Malingering Detection Scale.

Dr. Barkemeyer is Associate Professor of Neurology with Louisiana State University, School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA.  He is Chief of Neurology at the Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA and is Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  

He has instructed residents and medical students at the Earl K. Long Medical Center and Charity Hospital in New Orleans for 29 years. For his teaching efforts, he has received numerous teaching awards.  He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.

Over the past 29 years, Dr. Barkemeyer has performed over 150,000 neurological evaluations. In addition, he has been the neurology consultant for Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, LA since 1986.

Eleanor B. Callon, Ph.D. received a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University with a Specialty in Behavioral Medicine.  She also holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Florida.  Dr. Callon has published numerous articles on Behavioral Neurology.
